Coaching Agreement
Our mutual agreement with coaching participants regarding your responsibilities as a coachee, to ensure alignment and the best outcomes.
Description of Services
Coaching is a collaborative and personalised process that facilitates new thinking to cause positive change. It is a partnership about the coachee and for the coachee (and if required, in conjunction with the coachee’s manager) that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional capacity.
A coaching program consists of a predefined number of coaching sessions, delivered face-to-face or online with a session duration at either 45 minutes or 60 minutes, or, for a survey debrief, 90 minutes. All coaching programs will be supported by unlimited email coaching, targeted micro learning, behavioural nudges and possibly a 360 feedback survey.

Coachee Responsibilities and Declaration:
I understand that coaching is a professional to coachee relationship designed to facilitate the creation of personal or professional goals and to develop a plan of actions to achieve those goals.
I acknowledge that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counselling, psychological and other mental health care services; or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is my responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If I am currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that I promptly inform the provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by me and the Coach.
I understand that all actions taken by me and any results of those actions are my full responsibility.
I am willing to try new concepts and ways of accomplishing things.
I commit to attending scheduled sessions on time and to completing agreed actions between sessions.
If I believe that I am not getting what I expect I will share this immediately with my coach (and another coach may be offered if required).
If I need to cancel a session I will give the coach at least 24 hours notice. I understand that a late arrival will necessitate a shortened session to facilitate completion at the agreed time. I understand that a failure to attend the booked coaching session (with less than 24 hours notice) will result in a forfeit of this session.
Each session will involve a review of previous sessions achievements, any homework I have completed, discussion of opportunities and problems, option generation and desired actions and outcomes.
Coach Responsibilities and Declaration:
My relationship with coachees and sponsors is governed by the International Coach Federation Code of Ethics. Copies of the ethical guidelines are available on request.
I will treat as confidential all information shared with me by the coachee, or by, or about the sponsor. The only exception to this will be if the coach believes the coachee is a danger to themselves or others
Where there is a requirement for the coach to update the coachee’s supervisor on progress, updates will include generic feedback on progress only. The coachee, coach and superisor/sponsor will agree at the commencement of the relationship on the frequency of the updates and the general nature of the feedback. It will be encouraged that the coachee will provide an update to the supervisor.
All notes of sessions or meetings will be treated with the nature that confidential material demands.
I understand coachees have busy working schedules so I will do my best to accommodate rescheduling of sessions when reasonable notice is given.
I seek your permission to include the coachee name and contact information on a coaching log used only for International Coach Federation credentialing purposes.
